Documents to gather
The Études en France file relies on specific documents, often to be translated by a sworn translator. A missing document or a non-compliant translation systematically delays the processing of the file.
- Diplomas and transcripts of the last 3 years, translated
- Up-to-date CV and a motivation letter written for each targeted programme
- Copy of a valid passport and birth certificate
- Compliant ID photos and additional supporting documents depending on the country
- Where applicable, language certificates (French or English) required by the programme
The procedure timeline
The procedure lasts about eight months: online file opening in the autumn, submission of applications and payment of fees (around €50 to €99 depending on the country, plus about €50 per university application), processing by the institutions in the spring, then final answers before the summer.
Our follow-up until the final opinion
We do not just prepare the file: we track its progress at every stage, send reminders when needed, and alert you as soon as an action is required from you (additional document, confirmation of a choice, payment).
- Checking the compliance of each document before sending
- Writing and proofreading motivation letters for each programme
- Tracking the file status on the platform (pending, in progress, opinion issued)
- Advice in case of an unfavourable opinion to bounce back with another application
